Just wanted to let you all know that I have edited my images and posted them to myartspace.com as a B/W portfolio and also a Panoramic portfolio. You will also find images in the Seascapes portfolio and shortly in the Rockscapes portfolio. I still can't believe how productive this great trip was for me. A big thank you to all the travelers on this trip for your great company that kept me smiling most (!) of the time. Special thanks of course go to Bill for all his hard work organizing and leading the trip.
I just love this sky and thought it would be nice to see a tighter version of it since the full pano really needs to be printed to be properly viewed... (Someday I may do that)
My intention when I took this was to be ironic: cell phone transmitters on your national cathedral seemed a bit undignified - but the fulmar flew into the shot and made it look like I was trying for something else entirely.
This was a very grey day as I recall. I could not seem to find anything to get my juices flowing. Then I had some sort of epiphany and actually came away with 3 or 4 rolls of used film and (I hope) some interesting shots.
Well, here is my one and only colorised quadtych (??) from the trip. I think this place is called Baejarvadall this being the bay on the right and the hills are the Storhaed that we drove past on the way to the black church.
