Thank you for posting the photo. I saw you from our cabin that morning and was so happy that you were there to capture the moment. I do admire you "up at dawn" photographers. My eyes don't focus well at that hour. It was an amazing sunrise and morning.
Further to my last comment, God knows there is a lot of mysteriousness on the journey between the scanner and the monitor. I should get my resident artist to check out the "print" versus the neg before I comment on the color.

ReplyDeleteDecisions, decisions: catch the Northern Lights, or up before dawn to catch the sunrise.... Clearly a tough choice!
ReplyDeleteVibrant is the word for this shot. Did you use a filter (if you don't mind me asking)?
I don't focus so well before my coffee either! John, no filters, or any post-adjustments. It's just straight Velvia which can be quite vibrant.
