Flight to Safety

Today at Dynjandi Falls I decided to focus instead on the fjord. I was rewarded in part by these Icelandic Oyster Catchers. As I approached, they gathered from around the shore.
Here we see one flying to join the others.

Next they had a little pow wow to decide the nature of the threat.

An animated conversation ensued, fight or flight?

When you can fly, flight is the logical choice.

Off to safety...
